Your support for the Friends of the J. V. Fletcher Library, Inc. has been transformative! First, your ANNUAL APPEAL generosity rejuvenated the physical J. V. Fletcher Library -- with new carpeting, paint, furnishings and color. Then, over the past two years, you generously enhanced library collections, by funding the Friends’ STOCK THE STACKS campaign and then the NEW TITLES AND NEW TECHNOLOGIES campaign. These have resulted in new collections, formats and titles for the entire community.
This past year, the library saw its highest use ever, and despite recent downsizing and re-organization, offers more hours than ever. This year, the Friends ask you to Help Your Library Do More so that our library can be the best 21st century library it can be!
This year we launch EMPOWER YOUR LIBRARY, EMPOWER YOURSELF! so we can continue to grow our collections of downloadable technologies and new electronic content, as well as your favorite classic collections. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to fund new media, downloadable formats and new technologies that will be used by the entire community again and again. Please join us in Helping Your Library Do More!
